French designer and leather expert Laurence Basse made a triumphant return to New York Fashion Week, unveiling her label LAURENCE BASSE PARIS with the captivating Fall/Winter 2024 collection, BURN THE CITY.

Describing the collection with one word, Basse chose "WARRIOR," reflecting the ethos of her brand, which balances beauty and strength amidst the complexities of the world. With a focus on versatility and breaking molds, Basse showcased her collection in the raw elegance of The Paramount Building in Times Square, marking her first solo appearance at NYFW.

The collection showcased Basse's mastery of leatherwork, combined with innovative materials like denim, silk, and wool. Vibrant hues of pink, blue, green, and metallics added a refreshing twist to her signature black palette. Standout pieces included a baby pink leather jumpsuit, a two-piece leather gown paired with a stunning headpiece, and custom-designed chainlink jewelry by esteemed designer Mr O Atelier. The runway finale featured recycled fur pieces designed by Basse and crafted by Tas Kletsidis.

Basse's NYFW show was impeccably produced by her longtime friend and collaborator Mykel C Smith of Mykel C Smith Creative, bringing over 20 years of expertise in event production, celebrity styling, casting, and creative direction.
