The first Juneteenth celebration was held on June 23, 2019, at the town of Eatonville Field. Juneteenth is the oldest celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the US. On Saturday and Sunday, June 22, 2019, and June 23, 2019, the festival featured the celebration of Juneteenth Eatonville, FL is the oldest black incorporated municipalizing in the US.

1865 it was June 19 the soldiers landed at Galveston, TX with news the war had ended and that the enslaved were free. The event offered food from vendors, art exhibits, live performers, and skits and highlighting from local schools.

Fashion Show

Fashion Bev the Creatress created a line dedicated to melanin excellence and Afro-Futurism. The designs were all monochrome and signified that beauty is skin deep. I enjoyed seeing the variety of models and their talent. Bev is a talented fashion designer whose vision will continue to take Orlando to higher heights.
